Dry January – Chocolate Mocktail


Looking for an alcoholic escape but you’re participating in Dry January?

Well the next best thing is chocolate right? So why not try our Mocktail recipe below…


  • 400ml of Semi-Skimmed Milk
  • 125g of Cooking Chocolate
  • 4 tbsp Caster Sugar
  • Half a tbsp of Butter
  • Chocolate Drops
  • Twix, Flake or Twirl
  • Tiny Umbrella (if desired)

PRODUCT NEEDED: Mr. Whipstir Whisk


First, add the 400 ml of milk and 100g of chocolate to the pan.


Turn on the hob to full heat. Once chocolate begins to melt – start whisking!



Melt the butter for 10 seconds in the microwave. Use the remainder of the cooking chocolate and grate it into the sugar. Mix them all together to make a sticky paste.

Once it’s all mixed, spread finely onto a plate or dish. Take the cocktail glass, turn it upside down and softly move it around the paste, so the rim is completely covered like so…



In a 1 pint pyrex jug (or similar) – Warm up about 50ml of milk in the microwave for 1 minute (800w). Use the Mr. Whipstir Whisk to froth up the milk…


Pour the Chocolate mix into your Cocktail Glass. Add a small amount of froth ontop. Finish with some chocolate drops and your bar of choice.
